Built on a foundation of friendship and a shared vision, Crystal & Clover Designs is a labor of passion and purpose. Co-founders Ashley Spencer and Sarah Markel met through their husbands and quickly became close friends. Living less than ten minutes apart, their families spent many evenings hosting game nights and celebrating holidays together. During these gatherings, the idea for Crystal & Clover Designs grew from a dream into a reality.

Frustrated with the limited local opportunities for gaining experience in web development and design—and equipped with both formal education and a self-taught skillset—Ashley began to envision starting her own business. Recognizing Sarah’s background in human resources and clerical work as a valuable asset, Ashley shared her aspirations. Together, they decided to create a company where passion, skill, and community could come together to support small businesses.

Crystal & Clover Designs is a true partnership, combining Ashley’s love for design and Sarah’s dedication to operations and organization. As a well-balanced team, they continually share their expertise, building a business rooted in their strengths and a shared commitment to helping others succeed.

Our extended team is composed of talented freelancers who bring expertise across multiple areas. From our skilled web designers and developers, who craft seamless, responsive websites tailored to each client’s needs, to our graphic designers who create custom visuals that tell your brand’s story, each team member plays a vital role. Additionally, we collaborate with specialists in break-fix IT support and drone photography, allowing us to provide on-demand technical support and to capture stunning aerial visuals.
